Police said a 12-year-old boy was hit by three rounds of fire while a shooting was taking place in Lakshmipur, Genda Pahad area of Bihar. The gunfire was reportedly aimed at Satyanand Singh, and the stray bullets struck the child, causing injuries.
The accused was apprehended at the scene carrying a pistol, 24 live cartridges and three khokhe, which investigators recovered as evidence.
Medical officials treated the boy at a nearby health centre and reported that his condition is stable. The case has been registered as a criminal offence, and further inquiry is underway to determine the motive behind the attack.
