A 10-foot python entered a Seoni household’s bathroom, leaving the occupants shocked, before a local snake‑rescuer captured and released the animal.
A large python, estimated at about ten feet in length, slithered into the bathroom of a private residence in Seoni, Madhya Pradesh, startling the family members who were inside. Witnesses said the reptile appeared to be exploring the wet area, prompting panic among the occupants.
The household immediately called a local snake‑rescuer, who arrived with the necessary equipment to handle the situation. Using a secure grip and a containment bag, the rescuer was able to coax the python out of the bathroom without harming the animal or the residents.
No injuries were reported, and the snake was released back into a suitable natural habitat nearby after the rescue. Local authorities advised residents to keep doors and windows closed, especially in areas where wildlife may wander close to human settlements.
